User experience and user interface design fields are quickly growing, with more opportunity than ever before. This 24-week bootcamp equips you with the skillset you need to excel in both fields and think like a UX/UI professional.
There has never been a better time to learn user experience design than right now. For anyone interested in a career as a UX designer, the employment demand for these skills is at an all-time high and is showing no signs of slowing down.
Learn Both UX & UI Design
The process of creating the outward-facing appearance of a website or application is referred to as user interface (UI) design, while the process of gathering research and using data to inform design decisions is referred to as user experience (UX) design. In this program, you will learn both.
What does a UX designer do?
UX designers are responsible for making sure that the design, features, and functionality of a product satisfy its customers by combining design strategy, testing, and research.
What does a UI designer do?
UI designers combine visual and digital design skills with systematic thinking to create the interface of a product, such as the design of a website, application, or touchscreen device.
Learning Schedule
Learn the skills you need to launch your career without quitting your job. You will meet regularly with your cohort instructor through 1:1 sessions, group projects, and design reviews. This part-time bootcamp is roughly 24 weeks long.
Curriculum Overview
Pre-Program Work: Prior to the start of your training, you are expected to work through the materials provided by the instructor. This includes assigned videos, readings, lectures, as well as a pre-program assessment.
Unit 1: Design Process Part 1: Design Iterations
Estimated Time to Completion: 42 Hours
In this unit, you will learn how to execute everything from rudimentary sketches to high-fidelity wireframes, and take into consideration the basics of visual design throughout the many stages involved in bringing a product to life.
Unit 2: UX Foundations
Estimated Time to Completion: 80 Hours
What does a User Experience Designer actually do? What is Design Thinking? In this unit, you will explore answers to these questions while acquiring a foundational understanding of this field of practice.
Unit 3: Design Process Part II: Context
Estimated Time to Completion: 40 Hours
Before putting pen to paper or pixel to prototype, a designer must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the problem they are solving and the intended beneficiary of that product. Learn strategies for determining stakeholders and identifying existing pain points.
Unit 4: Design Process Part III: Research
Estimated Time to Completion: 56 Hours
Collect qualitative and quantitative data using research methods to inform design decisions. Determine which methods are most effective in a variety of different scenarios.
Unit 5: Design Process Part IV: Evaluation

Use research to draw conclusions and prepare to present your data to stakeholders. Decide how to best translate insights into action by constructing user personas, journey maps, and other industry deliverables that will add depth and meaningful narrative to your portfolio.
Unit 6: Design Process Part V: Testing
Estimated Time to Completion: 32 Hours
Testing is a crucial step in designing a product. It provides the designer the opportunity to discover ways to improve the design and learn more about the users. In this unit, you will learn how to facilitate usability tests and how to apply the results of testing to improve your designs.
Unit 7: Succeeding as a Designer
Estimated Time to Completion: 48 Hours
Discover techniques to professionally display and deliver your work to employers. You will finish building your portfolio and stacking your online profiles with the projects that you have created throughout the program.
